Meeting Ian Hunter for the first time, as a fairly known rockīnīroll artist myself, I was proud to learn that Ian was one of my biggest fans throughout the years. We both decided to do some shows together which turned out to be quite a few concerts. I very quickly started to learn how strong a rockīnīroll artist Ian is while learning his material. Over the years, I started to learn a lot more about rockīnīroll from Ian that gave me a new [insight] into my own career. He is the sort of rockīnīroll artist that has so much knowledge about other artists around him. He is one of the leaders in rockīnīroll history. His music is a landmark, his voice is immediately recognized as something special. His international ability allowed him to create a huge following around the world. Without a doubt, Ian will be one of the artists that will go down in history for his contribution as a song writer, performer and TEACHER. It would only be appropriate that he should be entered into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. ~ Roy Young

The man's a giant and still making great records. Mott paved the way for punk and produced some of the 70s best rock 'n' roll in the bargain, while his solo records always bite. A true titan who deserves this accolade, at least. ~ Cheers Kris

If Ian Hunter isn't in the RRHOF then the RRHOF lacks all credibility as far as I'm concerned. Can't think of anyone more deserving.

Ian Hunter is extremely deserving. I worked with him on two tours and have never rocked harder.

Ian has always written from the heart and his songs have projected that. A great singer, wordsmith, writer, pianist (I love his piano playing), and guitarist. You only have to listen...

Ian is a first class songwriter and musician. He writes truly great songs and delivers them with genuine conviction and panache. I Know!
